The Bookkeeper Who Actually Gets Your World
Hi, I’m Arielle — a number obsessed, systems-loving, neurodivergent bookkeeper who genuinely loves turning financial chaos into calm clarity.
I didn't grow up dreaming of bookkeeping.
One day my husband came home and announced he was going to become a subcontractor. Suddenly I was the one handling the back end of a business. I was confident in Excel — but QuickBooks? Completely overwhelmed.
But as I figured it out — one report, one reconciliation, one "why doesn't this match?!" moment at a time — something unexpected happened.
I loved it.
I loved turning messy information into clear answers. I loved building simple systems that made everything feel lighter. And I especially loved seeing the relief on someone's face when their numbers finally made sense (in the early years, that was most definitely my face).
That unexpected start turned into years of learning, real-world experience, and eventually a business built around the thing I'm genuinely passionate about — helping owners feel steady and confident in their finances.
In 2024, I made it official and launched AnchorPoint Bookkeeping, LLC. Built on clarity, backed by partnership, and all about helping you build a better relationship with your numbers — without needing a spreadsheet intervention.
And the name? That was intentional too.
An anchor point is a safety system — designed to be stable, secure, and strong enough to withstand force when everything else feels uncertain. In climbing and construction, your anchor point is what you trust completely when the stakes are high.
But an anchor also keeps a ship steady in rough seas. When the waves come — and in business, they always do — a good anchor holds. It doesn't panic. It doesn't drift. It keeps you exactly where you need to be until the water calms.
That's what I built AnchorPoint to be for your business. Steady, reliable, and always holding — through growth, through chaos, through tax season, through whatever comes next.
And if working with me also feels a little like a calm afternoon on the water with the sun on your face and nowhere you need to be? That's entirely the point.
How I got into Bookkeeping (the real story)
Why healthcare clients are close to my heart.
Before bookkeeping, I spent 8 years in healthcare. It's still a field I deeply respect — and supporting medical practices with their finances lets me stay connected to that compassionate, service-driven world, just in a different role.
I know how much you're carrying. I know how sensitive the work is, and how important it is to handle information carefully and professionally. HIPAA-aware workflows and signed BAAs aren't a checkbox for me — they're how I've always worked.
When a practice owner finally understands their numbers, or an office manager gets to hand off the books to someone who actually handles them — that's the moment I work for.

How I work — and why clients like it.
My approach is personal, proactive, and built around your business — not a cookie-cutter template.
Proactive + Organized
I don't wait for things to go wrong. Consistent monthly rhythm, organized workflows, and proactive communication — so nothing falls through the cracks.
CPA-Friendly
I keep your file aligned with your CPA's preferences and communicate directly with your tax professional when needed. Tax season should never be a scramble.
Detail-Focused
I work in high-accuracy environments by choice. The details matter — and I actually enjoy finding the thing that doesn't match. That's not a quirk — it's a feature.
Systems That Actually Work
As a neurodivergent business owner, I've spent years building and refining systems that are clear, repeatable, and human — because I need them to work too.

A little about me.
I'm a mom, a wife, and a self-described number nerd based in North Idaho — which means lake days, mountain trails, and the occasional sprinkler in the backyard are very much part of my off-hours.
When I'm not in the books, you'll find me playing Sudoku, Mahjong, or any puzzle-sorting game I can get my hands on. My family spends evenings playing games together, and when the weather cooperates, we're outside exploring everything the Inland Northwest has to offer. The beach is my happy place — I even have a base knowledge of sailing, which feels very on-brand for a business called AnchorPoint (definitely an inspiration behind the name).
I'm neurodivergent — and I'll happily own that label. Growing up in a neurodivergent family, raising a child with special needs, and running a business with an ND brain has given me a deep, lived understanding of building systems and workflows that actually work for real people — not just neurotypical textbook cases.
Oh — and I tried to learn knitting three separate times. By attempt three I genuinely could not remember how to move the yarn and needles at the same time. I've made peace with crochet. Some things just aren't meant to be.
Scifi fan. Kdrama enthusiast. Kpop concert goer. Proud bookkeeper. Very mediocre knitter.
